About
About Monster Gutters
A licensed roof plumbing business that does one thing properly: gutters, downpipes and stormwater, plus the roof above them.
- Lic. 108490
- $20M QBE insured
- 6-yr workmanship warranty
Monster Gutters is a locally owned roof plumbing business working across Melbourne's east and south-east. We focus on gutters, downpipes and stormwater, so that's what we're good at.
How we work
We measure your roof from aerial imagery and give you an estimate over the phone, then inspect the house before giving you a fixed price in writing. You know the full cost before the job starts, and it doesn't change unless we find something you need to know about, like rotten fascia, and you agree to fix it.
Every job is done under a Victorian roof plumbing licence. Gutters are set with the right fall, joins are riveted and sealed, and the site is cleaned up before we leave.

Why it matters
The cheapest quote often costs more
Gutters are roof plumbing. In Victoria that work needs a licensed plumber. Here's what you get with us compared with an unlicensed operator.
| What you get | Monster Gutters | Unlicensed operator |
|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | Licensed roof plumber, lic. 108490 | Handyman with no plumbing licence |
| Price | Fixed price, guaranteed: if the agreed job costs more than we quoted, you don't pay the difference | Rough estimate that can grow on the day |
| Insurance | $20M QBE public liability | Often uninsured, or you can't check |
| Workmanship warranty | 6 years | Usually none |
| Compliance certificate | Issued and lodged on plumbing work over $750 | Can't legally issue one |
| Clean-up | Old gutters removed and site left tidy | Not always included |
