Gutters, downpipes & stormwater
Downpipes
New downpipes, outlets and rainheads that move water off the roof and into the stormwater, fitted by a licensed roof plumber.
- Lic. 108490
- $20M QBE insured
- 6-yr workmanship warranty
A gutter can only drain as fast as its outlets and downpipes let it. When a downpipe is rusted, split, blocked or simply too small for the roof above it, the gutter backs up and overflows, even if the gutter itself is fine.
We replace downpipes, outlets and rainheads, fix them to the wall on new brackets, and connect them to your existing stormwater. If a section of roof needs another downpipe to cope with heavy rain, we'll tell you and include it in the quote.

Round or rectangular?
Round PVC downpipes are tough, quiet and come in a range of colours. Colorbond steel rectangular downpipes give a crisp look that matches Colorbond gutters exactly. We'll go through the options with your quote and you choose.
What a rainhead does
A rainhead is a box at the top of a downpipe that catches water from the gutter. It lets water drain faster than a standard outlet and gives it somewhere to overflow away from the house if the downpipe ever blocks. They're a smart addition on large roofs and on houses under big trees.
Common questions
Can you replace just the downpipes?
Yes. If your gutters are in good condition we can replace only the downpipes and outlets and connect them to your existing gutters.
How many downpipes does my house need?
It depends on the roof area draining to each gutter and the size of the downpipes. We work it out when we measure your roof and tell you if any section is under-drained.
Will the new downpipes connect to my stormwater?
Yes, we connect them to your existing stormwater. If the stormwater itself is broken or blocked, we'll let you know and can quote to fix it.
